🎁 The Claiming Process
One of the most important and necessary things to do after receiving a prize is to claim it. There are clear rules and time limits for this.
A. Prizes below ₹5000
Winning tickets can be presented to any authorized lottery agent in Kerala along with identification documents.
The agent will pay the amount immediately after verifying the ticket.
B. Prizes above ₹5000
More official procedures are required to claim these amounts.
1.Location:
Prizes up to ₹1 lakh can be claimed at the district lottery offices.
Prizes above ₹1 lakh should be submitted to the Directorate of Lottery in Thiruvananthapuram or to any bank approved by the State Government ( Nationalised Banks/Scheduled Banks).
2.Required Documents:
Winning Ticket: The name, address and signature of the winner should be written correctly on the back of the ticket.
Prize Claim Form: The form should be filled and submitted from the Lottery Offices.
Copies of the ticket.
Identity documents attested by a Gazetted Officer:
Passport or Aadhaar Card.
