Esha Deol’s Statement on Dharmendra’s Health Update
Veteran Actor Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, said about her father’s (Dharmendra) Health Update, “stable and recovering”, urging the media to stop circulating false news about her father’s health as the 89-year-old star remains under observation at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
“The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery,” Esha Blasts on Instagram.

“We cannot disclose anything. We are not allowed to. Please contact the family”, Breach Candy Hospital said.
Hema Malini’s Statement about Dharmendra’s Health
Dharmendra’s wife, politician-actress Hema Malini, has also criticised the “irresponsible” media coverage of Dharmendra’s health.
“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy,” Hema Malini expressed her anger through a post on X.
Their statement came after several prominent figures, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and lyricist Javed Akhtar, posted tributes to X, though Dharmendra’s family denied reports of his death.
Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for several days. On Monday night, Hema Malini had appealed to the people to remain calm and pray for Dharmendra’s recovery.
“I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji, who is in the hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored, and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery,” Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini posted on X.
His son, actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol, has also denied the rumours that the “Sholay” star is on a ventilator.
“Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy,” the PR representative said about Dharmendra’s health condition.
The entire Deol family, including Hema Malini, Bobby Deol, and Sunny Deol, are currently in the hospital. Superstars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and actor Govinda also visited Dharmendra and his family at the hospital.
